National Honor Society Application Information and 

Eligibility Requirements 

Scholarship
* A student must have a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher after six semesters.
Leadership
*Student leaders are those who are resourceful, good problem solvers, promoters of school activities, idea-contributors, dependable, and persons who exemplify positive attitudes about life.  

Character
*Students of good character uphold the principles of morality and ethics, are cooperative, demonstrate high standards of honesty and reliability, show courtesy, concern, and respect for others, and generally maintain a good and clean lifestyle.
*Students should be a role model for other students in his/her daily conduct and attitude.

Service
*This quality is defined through the voluntary contributions made by a student to the school or community, done without compensation.
*Students must demonstrate and document 20 service hours from grade 9 through the summer of grade 11.    

Students will be notified in the spring of junior year if they meet the minimum GPA requirement. 

Qualifying students will be invited to apply with the possibility of being inducted during the fall of their senior year. 

All students preparing to apply should document all service hours with signed letters of participation.
